HOT TOPIC OPEN HOUSE

PLEASE JOIN US FOR HOT TOPIC OPEN HOUSE, a free event hosted by the Kamloops Museum and Archives and Thompson Rivers University that will feature lively discussions with roundtable Q&As exploring our collective experiences with wildfires, the role we can play in the uptake of FireSmart methods, and our resilience as a community through wildfire mitigation.

The purpose of this open house is to gather, connect, and talk with the community, partners, and the experienced in wildfires from Thompson Rivers University Institute for Wildfire Science, Resiliency, and Adaption, FireSmart, United Way, Kamloops Fire Rescue, and the City of Kamloops. This discussion will be insightful, surprising, and open with opportunities to engage in cultural mapping, meaningful conversations, music, and light refreshments. This is a free event open to the public at Kamloops Museum and Archives, Friday, September 5, 4:30–6PM.
