Workshop for the Community and Cultural Mapping Research Group on June 11, 2024

Our Research Group partnered with the THAT Collective and co-hosted a research workshop by Jordan White. 

“Wâhkôhtowin: Good Relations and Expanding the Circle” provided an overview of Indigenous Storywork principles, foundations of dialogue, as well as Western & Indigenous values through a Métis-informed two-eyed seeing lens. In particular, working with DrugAwareBC, the workshop took place on 11 June 2024 and focused on the toxic drug poisoning crisis and the implications for community-based research.
